Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, England. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Day-to-day duties: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area 2+ years on the tools preferred.
