Immediate opening: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Highland County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
