Fabricator-welder — City of Franklin

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in City of Franklin, Virginia. You will work on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
