Great opportunity: gang bricklayer (Mississippi)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Adams County, Mississippi. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. The role involves mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
