Lift mechanic wanted in City of Manassas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift mechanic in City of Manassas, Virginia. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Day to day you will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Six days a week, one day off.
