Great opportunity: cnc production machinist (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Erie County, New York. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Write and edit G-code programs at the control What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Part-time with flexible hours.
