Trainee butcher wanted in Pike County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Pike County, Mississippi. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Your main tasks: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Season and marinate meat on request • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry 6+ years on the tools preferred.
