We are recruiting: we are hiring a press operator in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. You will record output and downtime on the production sheet; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways. Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits.
