Day-to-day duties: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
