Now hiring: we are hiring a self-assembly furniture fitter in Pulaski County, Illinois. The job is in an office undergoing a furniture refit. On the job you will handle: • Move and position heavy furniture without marking floors, walls or doorframes • Sort screws, dowels, cam locks and Allen keys by step number • Fit drawer runners and soft-close slides and check they glide smoothly • Use a cordless drill/driver and hex keys to tighten fittings to the right torque • Fit cam locks, cam screws, confirmat screws and minifix connectors Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of wall fixings and anchor types for different wall materials • Physically fit for lifting, carrying and kneeling through a full working day Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
