Die-casting operator • Trimble County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Trimble County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Day to day you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
