We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Cherokee County, Alabama. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards You will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; record output and downtime on the production sheet; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
