Immediate opening: cement mason (Alaska)

Now hiring: we are hiring a cement mason in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules On a typical shift you will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
