We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Weston County, Wyoming. Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Part-time with flexible hours.
