Brick and block layer — Montgomery County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on a commercial construction site. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Day-to-day duties: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Full-time, day shift.
