Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Balanga, Gombe State. Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours You will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
