Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchen porter in City of Poquoson, Virginia. The job is in a hospital canteen. What we are looking for: • Punctual, reliable and hard-working • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers Your main tasks: • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature • Restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
