Join our team: concrete labourer (West Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Ritchie County, West Virginia. You will be based in a residential housing project. On the job you will handle: • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
