Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Edwards County, Illinois. The job is at a glazing and fabrication factory. Your main tasks: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile You should have: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
