CO2 welder — Platte County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Platte County, Missouri. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
