Vacancy available: we are hiring a furniture installation technician in Slough, England. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to complete jobs within the quoted time • Own van or vehicle to carry tools and parts between jobs • Proven experience assembling flat-pack and bespoke furniture On a typical shift you will touch up scratches and chips with furniture repair wax or markers; install sliding wardrobe doors and overhead track systems; anchor tall furniture to the wall with anti-tip straps and brackets; hang cabinet and wardrobe doors and adjust hinges for even, square gaps; break down and remove packaging, cardboard and polystyrene after the job. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer £2,650 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
