Great opportunity: furnace operator (Florida)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Bay County, Florida. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. On a typical shift you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Part-time with flexible hours.
