Blocklayer — Banks County

Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Banks County, Georgia. You will be based on a new-build development. You will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
