Press shop operator — Shelby County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press shop operator in Shelby County, Illinois. The job is at a busy press shop. On a typical shift you will record output and downtime on the production sheet; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
