Join our team: we are hiring a PVC window installer in City of Edinburgh, Scotland. On the job you will handle: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
