Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Payette County, Idaho. You will work at a textile finishing unit. On a typical shift you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
