Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality checker in Gogebic County, Michigan. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans You should have: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
