Brick and block layer — City of Leicester

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in City of Leicester, England. On the job you will handle: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
