Powder coating operator — Derbyshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Derbyshire, England. You will be based at a fabrication and coating plant. Day-to-day duties: • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg 1+ years on the tools preferred.
