Vacancy available: we are hiring an order picker operator in Gilchrist County, Florida. You will be based in a cold storage facility. Day-to-day duties: • Charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely • Load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers • Pick and put away stock against pick lists and the RF scanner • Operate counterbalance and reach trucks within the marked aisles • Read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit • Log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book Requirements: • Able to manually lift up to 25 kg when required • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety • Able to read pick lists and operate an RF scanner 6+ years on the tools preferred.
