Immediate opening: overlocker operator (Washington)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Kitsap County, Washington. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens The role involves match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
