Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in City of Leicester, England. You will work in a job-work machining unit. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On the job you will handle: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. £95 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
