Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in Florence County, South Carolina. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
