Gas meter installer wanted in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations 1+ years on the tools preferred.
