We are recruiting: we are hiring a press shop operator in Morton County, Kansas. The job is at an auto components factory. Your main tasks: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Performance bonus on top of base pay.
