Day-to-day duties: • Install geysers, water heaters and booster pumps • Trace and clear blockages in drains, traps and gully pits • Replace worn washers, seals and float valves • Connect overhead and underground water tanks • Cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections Requirements: • Familiar with pressure testing and leak detection • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
