Vacancy available: argon welding operator (Texas)

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Castro County, Texas. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On a typical shift you will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
