Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Paulding County, Ohio. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Day to day you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job.
