Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Marion County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
