Now hiring: we are hiring a joiner in Charles City County, Virginia. You will work at a shopfitting company. You will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
