Health and safety supervisor • Pottawatomie County, Kansas

Join our team: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. Your main tasks: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
