Stainless steel welder wanted in Bracken County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Bracken County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
