Excavator operator • Burke County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring an excavator operator in Burke County, Georgia. The job is on a housing development site. Day-to-day duties: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
