Metal caster • Lewis County, Idaho

Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Lewis County, Idaho. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. On a typical shift you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Performance bonus on top of base pay.
