Gtaw welder — Lincoln Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height 6+ years on the tools preferred.
