Great opportunity: structural MIG welder (California)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in San Benito County, California. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Meals and transport allowance provided.
