Formwork carpenter — Middlesex County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Middlesex County, New Jersey. Your main tasks: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) You should have: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
