Scaffolding charge hand — Monmouthshire

Join our team: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Monmouthshire, Wales. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Able to read basic scaffold drawings The role involves: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips Six days a week, one day off.
