Dozer operator — Cherokee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dozer operator in Cherokee County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Day to day you will work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; refuel the machine and record running hours.
