You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles The role involves select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; read lift plans and method statements before starting; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller.
